APAP Revises Street-Law Materials

APAP just got through revising its street-law materials, which were written in Amharic a few years back, with the aim of acquainting interested lay persons with fundamental legal concepts and basic human rights.

The revision was needed because there were certain concepts that had to be updated—in particular, certain concepts pertaining to the revised Family and Criminal Laws of the land. The street-law materials, which consist of seven books, including the instructors’ guides, were revised during the period between January and June of 2008.

The street-law materials were revised with financial support from the French Embassy.
